For the last five years, Janna and I have been fortunate to spend our summers at the Chautauqua Institution south of Buffalo in upstate New York. The Institution was founded in 1874 as the Chautauqua Lake Sunday School Assembly, has emerged as one of the most successful adult educational experiments in the country. The community is made up of about 8000 residents who participate in the 9-week season offering activities from the arts, education, recreation and religion.
Due to the Pandemic, the Chautauqua season was cancelled and we were not able to return year. We are hoping (and planning) to return next summer if the virus is under control.
